In 1976, Toronto’s Darryl Sittler scored 10 points in a game (6 goals, 4 assists), the most in an NHL game. 

And in 2023, LeBron James became the NBA’s all-time leading scorer.

In 1919, the Boston Red Sox traded Babe Ruth to the New York Yankees.

And in 2004, Peyton Manning threw his 49th TD pass of the season, setting the record for most TD passes in a season. That record is now 55, also held by Manning.
