Most Points Scored in an NCAA Tournament Game! – This DiSH for March 18

In 1985, Willie Mays and Mickey Mantle were reinstated to baseball by commissioner Peter Ueberroth.

And in 1983, NC State survived a first round double overtime scare against Pepperdine to advance in the NCAA Tournament they would eventually win.

The First Rose Bowl game was a disaster – This DiSH for Jan.1

In 1902, the first ever Rose Bowl Football game was played. It was kind of a disaster. 

In 2012, Matthew Stafford and Matt Flynn combined to throw for 1000 yards in a game. 

And in 1961, the Houston Oilers won the first AFL Championship.
