And in 2013, Oscar Pistorius appeared in front of a South African magistrate claiming he shot his girlfriend by accident.

Jim Thorpe Stripped of his Olympic Medals – This DiSH for Jan. 26

In 1913, Olympic Decathlete and Pentathlete Jim Thorpe was stripped of his Gold medals. It was a wrong that wouldn’t be completely corrected for 110 years! 

In 1983, Cheryl Miller scored 105 points in a high school basketball game, overshadowing her brother Reggie’s 40 point night.
