And in 1969, the Seattle Pilots traded Lou Pinella for a couple of prospects. Also on this day in 1970, the Pilots declared bankruptcy.

Christian Laettner hit ‘the Shot’ vs. Kentucky – This DiSH for March 28

In 1982, it was the first women’s NCAA Tournament championship game. 

In 1984, Robert Irsay loaded up the moving trucks and moved to Indianapolis.

And in 1999, David Duval won the Player’s Championship while his day Bob won on the Senior PGA Tour.
