In 1987, it was a dramatic ending to a College World Series elimination game.

In 1925, Bobby Jones came up a shot short in the US Open. 

And in 1937, War Admiral won the Triple Crown in impressive fashion.

It’s not easy binge watching college basketball for four days straight and quitting cold turkey. So here’s some exciting moments to fill that void. 

In 1945, it was DePaul and Bowling Green. But that’s not all, it’s a two for one special as the NCAA and NIT winners played to determine a consensus champion.

In 1973, Bill Walton set the record for most points scored in a championship game, but it could have been more if it weren’t for those pesky rules.

In 1979, it was the classic meeting between Bird and Magic in the National title game. 

In 2005, Illinois overcame a big deficit to advance, but it still leaves the question, ‘what was Arizona doing on their last possession?’

And in 2009, Scottie Reynolds buzzer beater lifted Villanova to an Elite 8 win and a trip to the Final Four.
