Who is Abebe Bikila? And why should you care? – This DiSH for March 22

In 1969, Abebe Bikila was in a car accident that left him paralyzed but his influence on long distance running is evident today.

In 1893, it was the first women’s basketball game played at a college.

And in 1934, the first Masters got underway.

‘This Day in Sports History’ is a one PERSON operation. I research, write, voice, and produce each show. So if you like the podcast, subscribe, rate and review and tell your friends about it! Value the Human.
