Just Go Ahead and Give Me the Gold! – This DiSH for Feb. 16

In 1984, Bill Johnson became the first American to win gold in the Olympic Downhill.

In 1953, Boston’s Ted Williams crash landed his fighter jet in Korea. He escaped unharmed and returned to baseball several months later.

And in 2005, the NHL cancelled the entire season after an agreement could not be reached.
