This Day in Sports History – Dec. 31

In 1967, the ‘Ice Bowl’ between Dallas and Green Bay in the coldest game ever played in NFL history.

In 1972 , Roberto Clemente died after the plane he was flying in to deliver humanitarian aid to Nicaragua crashed.

In 2017, the Cleveland Browns became the second NFL team in history to finish their season 0-16.
